In 2018, Peter Alvarao joined us at o11ycon to deliver a visionary and thought-provoking talk around the problems we had yet to solve. In retrospect, he ended up painting a picture of the problems that ultimately defined a lot of the work that was done in the observability space for the next three years. In this session, Charity and Christine join Peter for a chat that digs into where observability might be headed for the next three years. After a half day of exploring current problems and solutions, join us for a closing session that examines the places we still have yet to go.

Michael is a Platform Engineer at Honeycomb.io. Has worked with various public and private cloud providers over for the past 8 years. Originally was deeply rooted in system administration but has since gained fondness for infrastructure as code and developer tooling. He has been using Kubernetes + Terraform software pairing since 2017. In his spare time he is an avid PC gamer, enjoys cooking and tinkers with mixed reality.
